Raffi Marhaba, a non-binary Brazilian migrant, discussed seeking political asylum due to violence based on their sexual orientation and the immigration process to the US. They shared about their identity, the importance of intersectionality and their journey redefining masculinity. Rafi also explained their involvement in radical activism, highlighting transphobia within LGB spaces. They recount their strategies for coping with stress and mental illness as a QTPOC person with trauma.
